Have you ever played 52-card pickup? You know, your friend comes up to you and says, “Hey, I just learned about a really awesome new game. Want to try it?” You, being the nice friend you are, say: “Sure.” And then your “friend” proceeds to throw all 52 cards in the deck up in the air and when they land, you get to pick them up. Who the heck invented that game anyway? Well, 52 Comms Mix Up is a play off the name of that game. ut what you get from playing is way cooler. I promise.
So what is 52 Comms Mix Up? It’s my plan to video interview 52 different PR professionals during 2011. I meant to start in January so I could do one interview every week, but life and work happen . So I’m starting now. And I need your help.
Here are 3 ways you can help me out:
- Suggest communicators for me to interview — feel free to suggest yourself. I’ll feature each interview on my blog. I’m looking for a mix of people, from the pros we see and hear from frequently to the hidden gems who few of us know.
- Send me questions to ask these communicators. Each interview will be three questions. Feel free to share ideas in the comments.
- Interview style. I’m open to trying new things so you’re not always watching the same old interview. Just looking for ways to differentiate and very open to any ideas you might have.
So that’s it. Can you help me out? And what do you think of the idea itself? How can I make these interviews valuable content for you and your fellow communicators?
Thank you in advance for your help and ideas. I promise not to throw any cards on the floor and ask you to pick them up. Cheers!
