Two of the questions I hear most frequently from young PR pros are: 1) Should I choose agency or corporate? 2) What are the little things that will hep me advance in my career?
Sam is a 23-year-old PR pro who was worked on both the agency side (Fuor in Chicago) and the corporate side (Facebook community management for Walgreen’s). So she has a unique perspective to offer students and young pros entering the “real world.” We talked about those questions, her passion for animals, the vegetarian meals she likes to cook and her Nikon D50, 18-55mm. Who am I?
I'm a business communications consultant at Fleishman-Hillard. I used to call myself a PR professional, but I don't use that term anymore because people hear PR and they think only media relations.We do a lot more than that at Fleishman-Hillard Kansas City (FHKC). I specialize in social media, but am trying hard to brush up on my measurement and analytics.
